Solar and Battery Install Electrician

We are seeking experienced, energetic solar installers to join our team. Must be comfortable with heights and willing to work 40+ hour weeks for year-round installs. Candidate must be courteous to customers, self-motivated, and work well with others.

Responsibilities:

  • Install roof and ground-mounted photovoltaic (PV) systems to code and standard using drawings, schematics, and instructions provided by the company and local AHJ.
  • Interconnect Inverter and other AC components as specified by design and appropriate codes and regulations
  • Work with others on the team to foster communication and teamwork.
  • Adeptly communicate with customers and staff the status of each job.

Qualifications:

  • Ability to perform physical labor that including extensive lifting, kneeling, climbing, and carrying.
  • Comfortable with heights and working on
  • Ability to think on their feet and find solutions to issues on the job site as they arise.
  • Ability to work well with others and help foster a cooperative, supportive, and motivated team environment
  • Must be committed to creating and maintaining a safe work environment.

Solar Advisor

Green Mountain Solar, a successful Vermont solar energy provider continues to grow quickly.

Our goal is to deliver the best customer experience in Vermont. We are seeking an experienced, energetic, customer-focused sales professional to join our team. We’re looking for someone with experience in consultative selling. We DON’T do high-pressure sales.

Responsibilities:

  • Engage potential customers to build relationships and rapport
  • Facilitate solar energy assessments with qualified, interested parties to determine the needs of the customer
  • Become knowledgeable of tax credit and incentives, as well as system financing options available to reduce overall system cost.
  • Analyze client electricity needs and design custom solar PV systems to offset utility costs and carbon footprint.
  • Manage client communication and communicate internally throughout the installation process.
  • Build and manage a sales pipeline and keep customers that exhibit a longer sales cycle engaged.
  • Work with satisfied customers to grow our referral network and create organic lead opportunities.

Successful Candidates Will Have The Following:

  • Customer Focused Mentality
  • Excellent client service skills, both written and verbal.
  • Determined, persistent, and positive attitude
  • Desire to find and drive new customer opportunities
  • Motivated to learn, competitive, and driven to effectively manage your own schedule
  • Ability to work a variety of hours including nights and weekends.
  • Computer literacy is a must. Familiarity with Microsoft Office a plus
  • Understanding of home construction/architecture is a plus
  • A reliable vehicle and insurance.
