Solar and Battery Install Electrician

We are seeking experienced, energetic solar installers to join our team. Must be comfortable with heights and willing to work 40+ hour weeks for year-round installs. Candidate must be courteous to customers, self-motivated, and work well with others.

Responsibilities:

  • Install roof and ground-mounted photovoltaic (PV) systems to code and standard using drawings, schematics, and instructions provided by the company and local AHJ.
  • Interconnect Inverter and other AC components as specified by design and appropriate codes and regulations
  • Work with others on the team to foster communication and teamwork.
  • Adeptly communicate with customers and staff the status of each job.

Qualifications:

  • Ability to perform physical labor that including extensive lifting, kneeling, climbing, and carrying.
  • Comfortable with heights and working on
  • Ability to think on their feet and find solutions to issues on the job site as they arise.
  • Ability to work well with others and help foster a cooperative, supportive, and motivated team environment
  • Must be committed to creating and maintaining a safe work environment.

Office Coordinator

We are seeking a confident professional office coordinator for our office in Williston, VT to be responsible for maintaining all administrative duties. Candidate must have a professional demeanor with excellent customer service, verbal, written, and listening communication skills, and be an adaptable, quick learner with 2 years minimum administrative assistant experience.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare correspondence to customers, vendors, and sales team as appropriate.
  • Respond to customer’s requests in a timely fashion serving as a point of contact for follow-up on a regular basis to ensure that a high level of customer service is met.
  • Contact customers when new leads arrive, schedule site visits and distribute leads to sales team and updating CRM with correct account information.
  • Assist with preparing marketing materials with vendors, assist with advertising campaigns, updating company social media and website.
  • Gather additional detail or information from clients in order to respond efficiently to customer’s requests for information, assistance, and materials.
  • Keep team members informed of information that affects workflow and service delivery
  • Answer phones, run errands, shipping, copying, scanning, and other basic office tasks.
  • Responsible for HR duties to include, administer orientation, conducting benefit enrollment process & completion of new hire policy documents.
  • Process customer payments and provide support to the accounting department as needed.
  • Assist with permit packages and compiling information necessary to complete permits, applications and other documents to all applicable municipal agencies for necessary project approvals.

Marketing Coordinator

Green Mountain Solar and our sister company, Granite State Solar, are expanding. We are a small but passionate team eager to drive renewable energy forward! We are seeking a highly-motivated, organized, and creative Marketing Coordinator for our office in Williston, VT. The ideal candidate must have a professional demeanor, collaborative, and be an adaptable, quick learner with 2 years of experience minimum.

You’ll be a key contributor to our team and take on projects in social media, advertising, customer experience, and website optimization.

Inventory management to include ordering, receiving, and keeping records of materials and products. Coordinating and regulating stock levels to ensure availability of required products. Assist Office Coordinator with all tasks as needed to include answering phones, shipping, copying, scanning, and other basic office tasks.
